Why don't free fumigation wooden cases need IPPC logo?

Wooden box packaging for export must have the IPPC mark. However, the fumigation-free wooden boxes have no mark and no text indicating that they are fumigation-free for export, but they can be directly exported. The purpose of fumigation is to kill any bookworm pests and their eggs that may exist in the wooden crates, in order to protect the agricultural and forest resources of the importing country. The fumigation-free wooden crates are made of plywood that has undergone high-temperature and high-pressure treatment. The finished plywood products will not contain parasites or some insects and their eggs. This effectively reduces the risk of biological invasion and will not cause harm to agricultural and forest resources. Therefore, fumigation-free wooden crates do not require fumigation when being packaged for export.

As long as the customs sees that the export box is made of composite materials and does not contain any solid wood, it strictly stipulates that it can be released directly without inspection. The fumigation-free wooden box not only protects the quality of the leaves but also has certain ornamental value. It is convenient for promotion and display, has a smooth surface, is fumigation-free, and is easy to carry. It can hold any export products. Its appearance and performance are far superior to the widely used natural wooden packaging.
